Looking at the snow falling outside my window, it’s hard to believe that spring is very nearly here and that means it’s time for gardening! And for many of us, it’s vegetable gardening. You can have the ultimate in organic, locally grown produce if you garden at home. Even if you don’t have much room, you can still grow a substantial amount of food at home. For instance, I grow much of my produce right on my deck using a minimum of space. So, how do I do this? I grow vertically which provides a lot of space in which to grow things. My secret is the Tower Garden. Check it out HERE. It simplifies traditional gardening, using a unique vertical garden system that makes it easy to grow your own fresh vegetables and even fruits at home! It’s powered by aeroponics which is the process of growing plants in an air or mist environment without the use of soil. That’s right, no soil. The Tower Garden uses only water and natural minerals to grow plants. I eat a ton of leafy greens and I grow a ton of these using this garden. If fact, I can and do grow everything from tomatoes, lettuce, basil, peppers, spinach, beans, cucumbers, and herbs. Who doesn’t love fresh herbs? And have you priced them at the grocery store lately? They are not cheap, so it’s great to grow your own and save some money too! Also, I dehydrate some of the herbs I grow to use over the winter, like parsley and mint. I haven’t grown fruit yet, but strawberries are on my list this year, yum! Please comment and let me know what you like to grow in your garden.
